Burgmeijer Quarter horses has been a regular name in the western sport since it's introduction. Not only in the Netherlands but throughout all of Europe.

Dave & Rieky Young own and operate their facility located in Vorstenbosch, in the province of Noord Brabant in The Netherlands.

With proven records in National & International competition, both have represented their home countries at major F.E.I. Championships.

Rieky is a member of the Dutch National Reining Team and has represented The Netherlands at all major FEI events. In 2011 & 2008 topping the FEI Reining World Ranking List with Burnt Starlight & Brady Chex.

In 2011 she earned a Gold medal in the restricted division of the World Reining Finals and she has been a NRHA Open Affiliate Champion twice.

Rieky is the KNHS National coach for the youth and young riders program.

Dave and Rieky are both accredited judges and have had the honor to judge throughout the world.

They have dedicated themselves to competition at a international level; but also to giving back to the industry through their involvement in such areas as: founding the Dutch Reining Horse Association & the 1st European Cowhorse Futurity, NRHA European Affiliate Championships, demonstrations and clinics at events throughout the world. And now, through the 'Short Course Program', they are developing and teaching.

Burgmeijer QH offers several excellent breeding stallions with the best bloodlines and proven performance and we have good horses for sale of different age and training level.
